We have a flexible pricing scheme to meet a broad range of needs for our products. Prices and descriptions of our prices are given below.

Pricing for studioSL and related modules is based on three criteria: 1) modules desired; 2) lease vs. perpetual license; and 3) number of seats. The following is a description of the available modules:
- studioSL Base (Required)
This is the base module required to run all other modules (floodOPT, HM/MR, HM-Geo, and MR-Opt). Without the optional modules studioSL will still allow to do pre- and post-processing for 3DSL and Eclipse. The surveillance workflow is included here, however a 3DSL base license is still required to compute the flow-based patterns and additional metrics.
- floodOPT (Optional)
Module to post-process streamline information for setting future target rates.
- History Matching / MultiRUNS Base Module (Optional)
Module to perform "smart paint" history matching (SL-derived permeability and porosity multipliers) and sensitivity/screening analysis (field-level history matching on global parameters).
- History Matching Geo-Option (Optional but requires the History Matching / MultiRUNS base module)
Allows to do geologically consistent history matching by extending the history matching workflow to communicate with Petrel or SGems.
- MultiRUNS Opt-Option (Optional but requires the History Matching / MultiRUNS base module)
Allows to do optimization on global parameters using differential evolution following a screening/sensitivity workflow available in the History Matching / MultiRUNS base module.

Pricing for 3DSL is based on three criteria: 1) modules desired; 2) lease vs. perpetual license; and 3) number of seats:
- Three-phase Incompressible Module - required to run 3DSL
The three-phase incompressible module allows each phase to have different PVT properties (densities and viscosities) as well as different relative permeabilities for each phase and rock region in the model. This flavor also includes an incompressible First Contact Miscible (FCM) formulation.
Three-phase Compressible Module (Blackoil) - optional This is the most general formulation allowing each phase to have compressible PVT properties. The PVT description is the standard black-oil model. The amount of gas allowed in solution of the oil phase is also a function of pressure. A simpler dead-oil model that assumes each phase is immiscible is also available. The FCM model is extended to account for compressibility. As in the immiscible model, gravity is accounted for in the compressible models. Please see 3DSL PVT Models for a thorough discussion on the differences between each PVT model.
Parallel Option - optional Available in 3DSL v4.0. Take advantage of multi-core and run 3DSL in parallel-mode on shared memory hardware. See 3DSL's performance on multi-core hardware.
Polymer Option - optional Available in 3DSL v4.0. Polymer modeling (increased water viscosity as a function of polymer concentration, adsorption, permeability reduction) is now implemented in 3DSL.
Dual Porosity Module - optional This module allows for a classic dual porosity reservoir description with matrix medium surrounded by fracture medium in each grid cell. The DP module accounts for water imbibition into an oil filled matrix via a variety of transfer functions. This module only works with the incompressible base module.

Software use subject to Streamsim's End User License Agreement included with invoice.
- The number of seats is simply the number of concurrent user sessions possible. For example, the number of 3DSL simulation runs you can do simultaneously is equal to the number of seats you purchased.
- For 2-3 seats, 10% discount (calculated from the seat 1 price) on seats 2 & 3.
- For 4-5 seats, 15% discount (calculated from the seat 1 price) on seats 4 & 5.
- For 6+ seats, please call for discount.
- A network license allows to run one seat on any machine on the network that is able to communicate with the license server.
- A lease license will stop working at the end of the lease period.
- Maintenance is included during the lease period.
- Maintenance is included in the first year of the perpetual license. It is 18%/year/seat thereafter of then published price.
- Payment for all licenses is due within 30 days of receipt of invoice.
- Expired maintenance can be reactivated using the table below. Upon payment, maintenance will be included to the next anniversary of the original maintenance period.
- 0-6 months from date of expiration @ 18% of most current list price;
- 6-12 months from date of expiration @ 25% of most current list price;
- 12-18 months from date of expiration @ 31% of most current list price;
- 18-24 months from date of expiration @ 36% of most current list price.
- Beyond 2 years from the date of expiration new licenses will have to be purchased.
- It is possible to convert an active lease license to a perpetual license and apply the latest lease license payment towards the perpetual price according to the following scheme:
- Credit for 90% of the lease price paid if conversion is within 0-1/4 of the lease period.
- Credit for 75% of the lease price paid if conversion is within 1/4-1/2 of the lease period.
- Credit for 45% of the lease price paid if conversion is within 1/2-3/4 of the lease period.
- Credit for 10% of the lease price paid if conversion is within 3/4-1 of the lease period.
