Research

Research and development at Streamsim is driven by close collaboration with our clients and our affiliation with universities. As such, Streamsim is uniquely positioned to fast-track research ideas into usable, industrial strength tools through close collaboration with researchers and end-users. Examples of such efforts have been the Streamsim/Stanford History Matching Joint Industry Project to develop history matching workflows that exploit the unique data provided by streamlines; the development of the polymer module in 3DSL in collaboration with OMV; and the parallelization of 3DSL in collaboration with Stanford University and the Fraunhofer-Institute for Algorithms and Scientific Computing.
